The Fishery

Framfield Fishery is a three lake fishery set in peaceful country surroundings on the outskirts of Framfield. The fishery consists of 3 lakes, two of which, Spring Lake and Brookhouse Lake are dedicated to the match angler and the other, Burywood Lake is dedicated to the specimen hunter.

Lakes

Bury Wood Lake - a 1 1/2 acre oval shaped lake with an island and woodland.
Brookhouse Lake - a long thin 36 peg, 2 1/2 acre lake with 2 long central islands.
Spring Lake - a boomerang shaped 36 peg, 3 acre lake with two large islands.

Rules

  1. Barbless hooks only
  2. No keepnets
  3. Landing nets must be dipped before fishing
  4. No boilies (except on Bury Wood Lake)
  5. No nuts, peas, beans, maize, wheat, bloodworm/joker
  6. No trout pellets (carp pellet is allowed)
  7. No catfood / dogfood
  8. 2lb limit on groundbait
  9. No method feeders allowed, no paternoster rigs, all feeders and ledgers to be free running
  10. No braid lines allowed
  11. Hook lengths to be a maximum of 6lb breaking strain on Brookhouse and Spring Lake
  12. Juniors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  13. No open fires, radios etc.

Directions

From Hastings: Take the A27 towards Brighton, until you reach the large Polegate roundabout, turn right onto the A22, follow the A22 to Uckfield. Turn right onto the B2102 towards Framfield / Blackboys, follow the road until you reach a pub called the "Hare and Hound"? found on a sharp corner, turn right here onto a lane called Brookhouse Road, follow this road for a bit, you will find Framfield Fishery on in a dip on the right hand side (there is no sign).

From Brighton: Take the A27 towards Hastings, until you reach the large Polegate roundabout, go straight accross the onto the A22, follow the A22 to Uckfield. Turn right onto the B2102 towards Framfield / Blackboys, follow the road until you reach a pub called the "Hare and Hound"? found on a sharp corner, turn right here onto a lane called Brookhouse Road, follow this road for a bit, you will find Framfield Fishery on in a dip on the right hand side (there is no sign).

From Crowborough: Take the A26 towards Uckfield which then joins onto the A22, once at Uckfield Turn left onto the B2102 towards Framfield / Blackboys, follow the road until you reach a pub called the "Hare and Hound"? found on a sharp corner, turn right here onto a lane called Brookhouse Road, follow this road for a bit, you will find Framfield Fishery on in a dip on the right hand side (there is no sign).
