The Beeches

The Beeches is a 1-2 acre, kidney shaped water located in the heart of the Peasmarsh, Wittersham countryside just north of the Blackwall Bridge section of the River Rother. The lake features include the odd over hanging bush, weed beds and some large patches of reed beds and lilly pads. The banks are generally flat, grassy banks that are raised slightly from the waters edge. The Beeches on a good day could hold approximately 20-25 anglers. Successful baits include sweetcorn, maggots, casters, lobworms, bread, boilies.
