Vinehall is a small 1 acre, oval shaped water with depths of upto 4-5 feet. The pond is surrounded by a number of overhanging trees and bushes, with numerous bunches of reeds found in the margins and some large patches of lilly pads. The are about four flat, dirt-based swims. Successful baits include maggots, sweetcorn, lobworm and bread for both the match fish and the carp.

Vinehall Pond contains a number of small common carp that can easily be caught by float fishing sweetcorn near the lilly pads and the surface duck weed. The pond also holds small tench, roach and rudd that can caught by float fishing maggots and lobworm.
"Not the most tranquel of waters with the A21 about 10 metres away but I had a lot of fun with my float, caught lots of small commons and skimmers."
