The Fishery

Gabriels Fishery is a three lake fishery that also has on offer a fishable mile and a quarter of the River Eden.The fishery consists of Silver lake, Hare lake, and Oak lake. Silver lake and Hare lake are ideal lakes for match bookings, Oak lake is an ideal lake for the specimen enthusiast with carp reaching 36lb.

Day (1 rod): Adult £7 - Junior £5 - OAP £5
Day (2 rods): Adult £11 - Junior £9 - OAP £9

On arrival - start fishing and the fishery officer will come round with tickets.
Match fishing and night fishing available by appointment with the fishery officer.

Rules

1. Nets, mats, slings, boots to be disinfected in dip provided before fishing.
2. Barbless hooks only.
3. Maximum of 2 rods on all lakes.
4. No keep nets
5. All fish must be returned to the water from where they are caught as quickly and safely as possible.
6. No rods to be left unattended at any time.
7. An Environment Agency Licence is required to fish these waters.
8. No litter, especially waste nylon.
9. No radios, TVs, dogs or excessive noise.
10. No open fires.
11. Under 16’s must be companied by an adult of 21 years or over.
12. Banned bait Jokers, Tiger Nuts, Peanuts, Chickpeas, Trout Pellets. Unsuitable bait will be confiscated.
13. No lure fishing.
14. No trespassing into adjoining fields or woodland, anyone caught entering the fishery outside hours will be treated as a criminal and may be prosecuted.
15. The management accepts no responsibility for any damage or theft to persons, vehicles or property.
