The Fishery

The Fishery is situated in a quiet, peaceful countryside setting with far-reaching views. It caters for all anglers from the dedicated carp angler to novices and beginners.

Lakes

Victory Lake - is the main specimen which is 2 acres in size. The Lake is interspaced with interesting island features with reeds and lilies abounding in the margins.
Damson and Victoria - 1 acre in size each, these lakes are designed specifically for the match angler having shallow margins and reeds for summer fishing and a deep drop off on the far side for light feeder work and the winter.
Kingfisher - this pond is 0.6 acres in size and heavily stocked with mirrors and commons to 10lb, ideal for bagging.
Berry Lake - this is the newest lake on site, mainly stocked with Green Tench and True Crucians

Rules

  1. All anglers must have a current EA licence.
  2. Night fishing by prior arrangement only.
  3. Barbless hooks only. No barbs.
  4. Fish to be returned immediately - no carp sacks. (Keepnets can be used on Match and Kingfisher Lakes).
  5. All nets must be dipped prior to fishing in dips provided.
  6. No fixed leads - all leads must be free running.
  7. No excessive baiting.
  8. No leadcore leaders of any type or braided mainlines may be used.
  9. No litter to be left. Please use bins provided.
  10. Unhooking mats must be used.
  11. No unattended rods.
  12. Please respect other anglers when using two rods and keep noise to a minimum.

    Any anglers found breaking these rules will be asked to leave.

Directions

The Fishery is located 11 miles from Canterbury and 2 miles from Sandwich on the A257 sandwich to Ash Road.
