Barretts Park Farm Fishery

Barretts Park Farm lakes are situated in the Old Heathfield area of Heathfield. There are two lakes on the farm, one is about 2-3 acres and the smaller one is just under an acre. The smaller lake is the more picturess and the more sheltered of the two. The lakes between them hold some beautiful specimen fish including carp to 25lb, tench to over 6lb, perch to over 5lb, eels to in excess of 5lb, as well as crucian carp to 1lb 8oz, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz, and small gudgeon. Barrets Park Farm lakes formally known as Bojos Lakes offers a great deal for anglers who wish to put long hours into the lakes.

The bottom lake "Bojo's" has been re constructed and has, currently, far less water plant coverage than the original image shows and minimal bank side vegetation. Over time this will naturally increase and will enhance this sheltered pond.

There have been a few fish introduced, so far, some carp and silver fish.
The top lake contains no lilies but there are several areas of rushes and overhanging bank side trees and bushes.

user tips

"best bait is spam"

"The fish love the margins and they are the best place to catch them, best bait is spam and any good boilies however cell and pineapple seem to be best, dog biscuits and bread work well on top. There is no bottom lake now as the outlet collapsed do all the fish are in top lake the carp go to 20lb which are mostly commons with a few mirrors, tench, roach, Rudd, gudgeon, perch to 5lb and eels to 5lb. The fish seem to be on the margin at the end of the lake that the wind is blowing most of the time".
tips from Ollie

"Ticket price £5 "

"Current ticket price is still £5. The smaller pond is currently being stocked after being re dug earlier this year.
For night tickets please contact fishery owner.".
