"hello,
I am sorry this angler was upset with our fishery but this is the first
time we have had any complaints. we have repaired our road 3 times this
year, you will appreciate it is expensive in the current climate to hire
diggers for a week to repair the road and purchase of hardcore, and the
continual wet weather creates pot holes quickly.several fisheries we
know have now closed or gone bankrupt but so far we have managed to keep our heads above water due to loyal anglers who come here and don't fish anywhere else.rose lake is out of action at the moment as it was leaking
badly earlier in the year and we had to move the fish to the other
lakes but we have spent £4000.00 to get people and diggers in to repair
it, although we have not yet had the funds to re stock the lake, but we
hope to do so next spring.our name is timberland and we have planted
trees round our lakes which are good fish holding areas which a
knowledgeable angler would appreciate especially on sunny days, and also
hinders cormorants landing on our lakes, nobody else has complained.we
have about 120 swims at our fishery, and you can only really work on
repairing swims in the winter time when there are not so many anglers
about to disturb with the noise.we temporarily put up our prices this
year, the first increase in 6 years to £10 a day for 2 rods to get some
funds to help restock rose lake which a lot of anglers wanted, but this
has now been reduced back to £8 during the winter as the days are shorter.
best wishes mick, one of the partners.".

"timberlands fishery Harlow
after entering the fishery down a pot hole riddled ,car damaging road you will come to the shop where the advertised £8.00 day ticket is now £10 and your be unable to fish rose lake as this has been drained and emptied you also wont be able to get a bite to eat in the cafe which is never open.after driving a little way more if your car canyou come to baggers lake now becareful choosing a swim as most if not all are in a very bad state and some are unfishable due to being over grown and the fishing is questionable being worth anywhere near £10
this is a honest review go see for yourself..".
