Moor Hall Pools are two scenic lakes set on a tranquil rural countryside farm in the quiet village of Ninfield. The pools have some great views that overlook surrounding countryside but are slightly spoilt by power pylons. The top pool (above photo) is about an acre in size and the bottom is a slightly larger two acre lake. The pools between them hold tench to 5lb, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz, perch to 3lb and some beautiful mirror and common carp to 15lb. Anglers often comment on the superb condition of the fish within the pools that have all been health checked. Moor Hall Pools offers day ticket fishing for the majority of the year except when observing its close season from 1st May to 15th June.

"Fished here yesterday and really impressed by the layout and cleanliness of the venue. The other anglers were very friendly and helpful. Fished the bottom lake unfortunately blanked on my first visit but other did catch which was inspiring and the fish were in prestine condition. Regarding returning again that's a definate yes can't wait will try top lake next time really looking forward to it a lot. Parking is great right by my chosen swims and as a disabled angler it was perfect !!!".

"Fished here numerous times. Lovely, peaceful lakes - never very busy, 1 or 2 other anglers. Lakes have matured a lot in comparison to the pics above, with bulrushes running around the whole lake and a few young willows. Swims are in good nick, close to water level. Top lake is an awesome runs lake, I have fished it twice and caught in excess of 20 carp each time, all around 5-10lb mark. Bottom lake is a little more hard going but is by no means unfishable; I've only blanked once out of the ten or so times I've been. The fish avg. at 10-15lb, biggest I've had out was 22lb (and a few 20s). Bailiff is very friendly and will always give you advice on best baits at the time and best places to fish if you ask. Finally, for £7 its one of my favourite, yet cheapest, places to fish.".
