Bourley Trout Fishing Lakes are a two lake, club run fishery set in a beautiful tranquil
Hants setting, surrounded by wildlife, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing
day of fishing.
The regularly stocked lakes consist of a large 6.1 acre lake and small 0.9 acre lake.
The large lake is a catch-and-take trout lake stocked with full-finned rainbow trout.
The small lake is a catch-and-release trout lake stocked with full-finned brown trout.
The lakes proudly enjoy mayfly hatchings of the rare Ephemera Vulgata mayfly in the
months of May and June, usually in large numbers, this is thought to be a very rare
sighting and quite possibly the only fishery in the South East with this species.
These lakes are run by Bourley Fly Fishing Club (BFFC) who are a non-profit organisation
offering fishing to armed forces, MoD civil servants, emergency services, NHS, veterans
and dependents. There may be fishing options to civilians depending on availabily.
The lakes are located in the Aldershot area of Hampshire.

"Despite this week’s blustery conditions 29 members fished the lake catching
36 fish between them. The largest fish was 4.2lbs caught at peg 3 on a Hare’s Ear.
The most successful files this week were Cat’s Whiskers, Hare’s Ear, various Damsels, Black Spider
and Boobies.
Several members reported catches (and release) on the small lake, with a total of 7 Brown
Trout being caught on Sedge.".
