The mill was later used to run a grain mill that still stands today, the mill is situated next door to the trout fishery. The lake is regularly stocked for hard fighting trout.

The lakes are regularly stocked with Brown and Rainbow trout from 1 1/2lb to 10lb+ with current lake record up to 20lb Rainbow trout.
