Springwood Fishery

Springwood Fishery is set within stunning woodland and comprises of 4 fishing lakes the largest a 3 acre lake up to 14 feet (4.26 meters) deep, stocked with some large Carp to 30lb and Catfish to well over 60lb. These waters hold a wide range of fish species between the 4 fishing lakes including Common, Mirror and Grass Carp, Tench, Catfish, Bream, Golden Orfe , Rudd and Perch.

Springwood lakes are a Cranbrook & District Angling Club venue shared with Springwood fishery lodge holiday goers. This water located on the Sussex, Kent border and within walking distance of Bewl water Reservoir.

This water is sometimes used by Cranbrook Angling Club for matches. Please refer to club handbook or website for match dates.

Spring Pool - main fishing lake stocked with specimen carp and catfish
Beech Pool -small 1/2 acre lake that is deep in places, stocked with carp, catfish and match fish.
Match Lake - Long pool is 1/2 an acre lake, stocked with carp to 20lb and match fish.
Top Pool - family friendly lake next to picnic area, water holds match fish and carp to 20lb.

Spring Pool - main lake

Spring Pool is a 3 acre lake, the largest of the four lakes at Springwood Fishery with 20 swims to fish from. This specimen water has Carp to 30lb and some large Catfish to well over 60lb. Spring Pool is surrounded by trees and shrubs, the pool also has a small island.

Beech Pool

Beech Pool is 1/2 an acre in size, up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) deep in places and stocked with some nice specimen Grass Carp to 30lb, Mirror, Common Carp, some big Catfish along with some good size Tench.

Long Pool has some good double figure Common, Mirror and Grass Carp that go to 20lb - 30lb. This water is sometimes used by clubs for angling matches. Steep Banks.

Top Pool

A family friendly fishing pool that has picnic tables right next to the lake for non anglers. Due to the pool being located right next to the car park this lake is also ideally suited for disabled and elderly anglers. Top Pool holds a range of fish species including Carp to over 20lbs.
