Amazon Wood Fishery
Amazon Wood Fishery is a three lake fishery situated in 20 acres of peaceful Polegate woodland. The fishery was a series of eight 60 year old brick pits until the owner of Amazon Wood Fishery transformed the overgrown, deteriorated pits into three highly prolific fishing venues. The fishing lakes are divided into two day ticket fisheries, and one members lake. Amazon Wood fishing lakes are ideal for the fisherman looking for a day of relaxing fishing and they are ideal for fishermen looking for some exclusive fishing.
The day ticket waters hold a wide diversity of fish including: carp to 30lb, ghost carp to 25lb, leather carp to 8lb, crucian carp to 2lb 8oz, tench to 3lb, roach to 1lb 8oz, rudd to 1lb 8oz, perch to 3lb, large eels to 5lb and silver bream that have been recorded to 1lb 7oz. The members fishing lake is stocked with Mark Simmonds Fisher Pond mirror carp plus some mystery fish. For more information on the members lake contact the owner.
