Sharnfold Farm Fishery is one of three man-made lakes dug in 1995. The other two lakes are used for irrigation and conservation. The fishable lake is a natural looking match fishing water that holds a number of different match fish including some beautiful specimen tench to over 6lb, bream to 3lb, barbell to 8lb, chub to 4lb and roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz. The lake also holds some small eels and good sized perch to 4lb. Sharnfold Farm Match Fishery is completely carp free. Sharnfold Farm has numerours activities and facilities to offer the visitor including: a farm shop, a small play park, country trails, recreational crafts, a multitude of farm animals and a large range of fruit picking.

Sharnfold Lake - A small lake with a central island set on rural farm land.
Sharnfold Farm Lake is a beautiful 2 acre, doughnut shaped lake surrounded by farmland and nature reserve land. The lake has approximately 20 low grassy banked swims that are situated in between reed beds. The main distinguishing feature of the Sharnfold lake other than the reed beds is the reeded island in the centre of the lake. The lakes depths average 6-8 feet. Successful baits on this water include maggots, casters, and worms.

Sharnfold Farm is located in Stone Cross on Hailsham Road (B2104). The farm entrance can be found next to Coopers Pub/Restraunt, 1/2 mile from stone cross crossroads (opposite the Red Lion pub, near Tesco's). The entrance is clearly signposted.
