Oakford Farm Fishery
Located in the hamlet of Nounsley, in the village of Hatfield Peverel, Oakford Farm Fishery is an Essex fishery made up of 3 coarse fishing lakes that were built in 1993 and are set in peaceful surroundings. The lakes are stocked with Tench, Carp, Bream, Golden Orfe, Roach and Rudd.
The waters are run on a day ticket basis with day tickets available on the bank. Fishing competitions are often held at the lakes.

Fishing Lakes
Oakford Farm Fishery consists of 3 fishing lakes which include:
Small Lake - 10 swims. Ideal for children and newcomers to angling. Well stocked with Carp, Tench and Bream and you are guaranteed to catch. Features marginal reeds.
Top Lake - 23 peg kidney-shaped fishing lake stocked mainly with Carp into double figures, though averaging 2-7lb. Recently planted with trees around the lake and water plants around the island. Popular with day ticket anglers and club competitions.
Middle Lake - 21 peg lake surrounded by trees with an island located at the deeper end. Stocked with Carp with a number of double figure Carp. Middle Lake often produces competition weights in excess of 100lb. Features island and marginal reeds.

"This is my favourite day ticket fishery by far its clean its run well and all the staff are very helpful
(although mick has the odd moan ha ha) the fish I've caught have always been in good condition luv the place."
