Par Lakes Coarse Fishery

Par fishery is made up of 2 fishing lakes covering 12 acres, that are located East of the Town of Upminster in the Essex countryside, each lake is surrounded by farmland and marginal trees.

The lakes hold some good specimen fish with catfish up to 105lb and carp to 40lb+.

Wildlife
There is some stunning wildlife in and out of the water, you may see: Kingfishers, barn owls, sparrow hawks, woodpeckers, little grebe, siskin, nuthatch to name a few.

Par Lakes Coarse Fishery consists of 2 lakes which include:

Tillingham Lake - holds some large catfish to 85lb .
Faraway Lake - 4 acre lake with a number of carp to 40lb.

Tillingham Lake

A 4 1/2 acre lake surrounded by overhanging trees and thick reed beds. The water holds a mix of fish including Wels catfish to around 85lb, tench, roach, rudd and perch along with carp averaging around 16 - 23lb in weight.

Faraway Lake

Faraway lake holds around 80 to 100 carp with the largest to 38lb with around 5 over 30lb. The lake has 6 swims and is surrounded by overhanging trees, bushes and thick reed beds.

Please note: during the summer months this water may have weed growth.

Driving from Brentwood Angling to Lakes

Turn left out of shop, straight over traffic lights (Headley arms pub 0.5m) road bears left at Thatcher’s arms 1.7m Continue straight on until road crosses the a127 (2.8m) from this point continue for 1 mile and then the road will bear sharp right. Turn left in to St Mary’s lane, continue for 1 mile. Venue will be on your right. (0.1m past little Warley Hall Lane)

A127 from Southend (2.9m)

After A128 Brentwood Orsett junction travel for 2.1 miles to Clearview Health Club/Esso petrol station, turn left into Warley Hall Lane 0.7m. Continue to end of lane, at junction turn left. Venue will be on your right after 0.1 mile.

M25 junction jct 29 (2.6m)

From M25 junction 29 proceed on to A127 heading towards Southend/Basildon exit A127 at the next junction signposted ‘’ Great Warley/Upminster B186 (0.5m) at top of slip road turn right for Upminster you will go over a railway bridge after approx. 1 mile the road will bear sharply to the right with a turning on the left called St Mary’s Lane, take this and the Fishery is precisely 1 mile on the right hand side (.01m after Warley Hall Lane)
