Broadlands Lakes Coarse Fishery

Broadlands Tackle Shop Set in an 82 acre estate surrounded by stunning wildlife is the peaceful and picturesque fishery of Broadlands Lakes, the fishery is made up of 4 lakes / rivers covering 30 acres of water. The lakes are fed from a chalk stream that links up with the river Test.

The lakes and rivers are well stocked with many different species of fish including carp to 37lb+, grass carp, pike to over 30lb, tench, bream, eels.... It was noted that one year over 4000 double figure carp were landed with 500+ weighing in at over 20lbs.

Facilities
On site facilities include ladies, gents and disabled toilets along with a shower room. There is good disabled access, with solid secure platforms and a lakeside car park.

Broadlands Lakes Fishery is a friendly family run business who also run a fishing tackle shop onsite where you will find essential tackle and baits available for purchase. Fishing equipment is also available for hire if you are new to fishing..Broadlands also run a cafe that serves hot and cold food and drink including a full English Breakfasts.

Main Lake (Broadlands Lake) - a large 26 acre lake with a good head of large carp.
Lower Lake - is a well stocked lake that is popular with pleasure anglers.
Match Lake - a 42 peg lake ideal for pole anglers.
Rivers - 2 rivers flow through the estate.

Main Lake (Broadlands Lake)

At 26 acres in size Main lake (Broadlands Lake) is the largest at the fishery. The lake is well stocked and extremey popular with Carp and Pike anglers with carp to over 37lb and some good size pike to over 30lbs. The lake is fed from chalk streams that flow from the River Test which helps keep the water quality high and the fish in good condition

Lower Lake

There are two rivers that run through the fishery these include River Blackwater and a chalk stream river that is a tributary off the River Test. The rivers hold a wide range of fish species: - Carp, pike, trout, salmon, chub, grayling, dace, perch, bream, roach....
