Golden Pond Fishery

A picturesque 1 acre pond located in Test Valley surrounded by countryside that attracts some stunning wildlife. Golden Pond Fishery is a day ticket water that is well stocked with coarse fish including tench, perch, roach, rudd and some good size carp to around 28lb. The pond is rich in features to fish with Lillie pads, overhanging weeping willow trees and marginal water plants.

The pond has recently been stocked up with 600lb of carp including three 20lb carp, tench up to 6lb and crucian carp. Facilities at Golden Pond Coarse Fishery include an onsite fishing hut where some bait and tackle is available for purchase. Popular baits include meat, pellet, corn, bread and mixer biscuits in summer, with casters, maggots and worms in winter. The carpark is located close to the lake.

The 1 acre fishing lake has approximately 16 well spaced swims including a swim suitable for wheelchairs. Lake features include lillies, overhanging trees, willows, shrubs and margin water plants.
