The fishery has a 3 acre spring fed fishing lake providing crystal clear water that supports healthy rainbow trout that vary in size from 2lbs into double figures..
Facilities
Moorhen Fishery has good onsite facilities with a Fly fishing tackle shop, recently modernised lodge, light refreshments, car parking and toilets.

From Southampton and London: Leave M3 at junction J10 in direction of the A31 Alton/Winchester. Enter the roundabout and leave at the 3rd exit onto A272. Stay on A272 for approx. 1 mile.
Enter the Spitfire Roundabout and leave at the 2nd exit onto Petersfield Road (A31). Stay on Petersfield Road (A31) for approx. 2 miles. Leave Petersfield Road (A31) and turn left onto A272. Stay on for approx. 9 miles.
Leave A272 and turn right onto A32 following signs for Fareham. Go through the village of West Meon and Moorhen Trout Fishery is on your right. If you pass The George & Falcon pub on your right you have gone too far!
From Portsmouth and London: Follow the A3 to Petersfield. Leave the A3 at the Petersfield turn off and exit onto the Winchester Road (A272). Stay on for approx. 6 miles.
Leave Winchester Road (A272) and turn left onto A32 following signs for Fareham. Go through the village of West Meon and Moorhen Trout Fishery is on your right. If you pass The George & Falcon pub on your right you have gone too far!
From Fareham: Leave the M27 at Junction 10 signposted A32 to Alton. Follow this road for approx. 11 miles through the villages of Wickham, Corhampton, Droxford and Warnford. Moorhen Trout Fishery is on the left hand side, just past The George & Falcon pub.
From Alton: Follow the A32 signposted to Fareham for 12 miles. Go through the village of West Meon and Moorhen Trout Fishery is on your right. If you pass The George & Falcon pub on your right you have gone too far!
