Orchard Lakes Fishery
Located in the heart of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire within 56 acres of farmland is
Orchard Lakes Fishery, a well established venue made up of 5 fishing lakes. The waters are stocked
with 12 different species of fish to suit all anglers including specimen carp with mirror carp to 26lb,
ghost carp to 18lb and common carp to 23lb.
Match lakes have seen match weights of over 300lb. Lakes include Match Lake, Main Lake, Tench Lake,
Aikin's Pool and Jakes Pond. Cooked food, snacks, ice creams and hot and cold drinks are served at
the LakeView Cafe which can be enjoyed on the seated terrace. An onsite tackle shop stocks a range
of fishing tackle and baits. Camping and caravanning facilities are also available.

Fishing Lakes
Orchard Lakes consits of 5 fishing lakes including Match Lake (44 pegs), Main Lake (26 pegs), Tench Lake (44 pegs), Aikin's Pool (10 pegs) and Jakes Pond (7 pegs).
Match Lake - A snake shaped match fishing lake with 44 pegs that produces match catches of over 350lb. The snaking lake is approximately 14 meters wide with depths of 2 feet close to the margins and up to 6 feet in the centre of the lake. Popular / best baits on match lake include pellets and paste.
Main Lake - A 26 peg lake popular with carp and silver fish anglers, the water is stocked with some good sized fish with Mirror Carp to 26lb, Ghost Carp to 18lb and Common Carp to 23lb. Popular / best baits on this water include maggots, surface baits and pellets.
Tench Lake - Tench Lake is a picturesque fishing lake that has many features to fish with lily pads and overhanging shrubs and trees. The lake is stocked with some lovely Tench and large Carp along with Perch and Chub. Popular / best baits on Tench Lake include pellet, corn, and bread flakes
Aikin's Pool - A small 10 peg pool that seen match weights over 100lb. Popular / best baits on Aikin's Pool include worm, pellet and paste.
Jakes Pond - Jakes Pond is a great water for youngsters and anglers that are new to fishing. The pond has 7 pegs and is stocked with small Carp, Roach, Perch, Bream, Gudgeon and Crucian Carp.
