Frensham Trout Fishery
Frensham Trout Fishing Lakes (also know as Robinswood) are located on the Hampshire / Surrey border, within a secluded wooded valley. Lakes are stocked twice a week with trout from 2lb to double figures. The fisheries current record is 21lb Rainbow Trout and a 19 1/2lb Brown Trout.
There are two fishing lodges 'The Hatch' and 'The Nest'. The hatch is the main fishery lodge with a seated balcony that overlooks the lakes. The Nest is a smaller lodge with tea and coffee facilities. The fishery also has a picnic area with BBQ where you can cook your catch. Light tackle is also available for purchase, alternatively tackle can be hired.
Masses of Damsel and Sedge, Daddy Long Legs are a real winner-Summer /Autumn. Buzzer fishing is superb all year round. Best Nymph is Mayfly Nymph in May and June with tremendous Dry Mayfly hatch that goes on for 2 months or more.
The fishery stocks Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Tiger Trout and Spartic Trout.

Fishing Lakes
Six stream-fed trout lakes set in wooded Surrey countryside with varied depths and natural fly life.
Drive down a quater mile winding track and you will come to the first lake 'Kingfisher Lake'. The waterfall there flows into Whitmore Vale Stream, a water that is full of wild brownies. Continue a further 200 yards to the car park close to the fishery lodge ('The Nest') with a vista of Robins 2 acre crystal clear water.
On one side 'ancient woodland' lines the banks and on the opposite side carefully tended grass and walkways, leading to picnic areas, bbq area with seating. Across the dam leads to Willow Pool where Brown Trout and Tigers are often stocked. When you start to wander you will arrive at Meadow Pool and Heron Lake at the top of the valley (a very tranquil spot).
