Twynersh Fishing Lakes

Located in Chertsey, Surrey is Twynersh fishery, a fishing venue made up of 8 gravel pit lakes. The area was originally an old gravel works that was excavated in the 70's and transformed into mature lakes that are rich with wildlife today. The waters hold some nice specimen fish, the members only lake (PIT 3) holds carp to 46lb, 26lb pike. Pit 2 a day ticket water has carp to 38lb, 10lb bream, 7lb tench, 18lb pike, roach. perch ..

Twynersh fishery was selected by Surrey Wildlife Trust as a site of nature conservation importance.

The fish in the above photograph is 'Nina' a common carp that was caught late 2016 weighing 40.1lb.

There is no charge for parents supervising junior anglers

The fishery is situated on the B388 on Thorpe Road from junction 11 of the M25. Follow the Thorpe Park signs, go straight across the large roundabout with the Twynersh public house on your right hand side. The fishery entrance is 300 yds on the right.
