Wintons Fishery
Wintons Fishery is a 3 lake fishery located in Burgess Hill, West Sussex on the edge of the South Down National Park's
rolling hills. The fishery is right on the East Sussex / West Sussex border with one of the lakes actually in East Sussex
while the other two are in West Sussex.
Fishing at Wintons is run on a membership basis. No juniors.
The lakes are stocked with big specimen Carp to 50lb+, stunning specimen Tench and some monster Catfish.
The three lakes at Wintons are:
Kingfisher Lake - Kingfisher has two islands and marginal lily pads. The lake has a clay bottom
with average depths of 8-11 feet.
Heron Lake - A feature rich lake with four islands and lily pads dotted around the margins of the
lake. The water has an average depth of 6 feet, the bottom is made of clay with a thin layer of silt.
Mallard Lake - This lake also has two islands, clay bottom and water depths that average 6 feet deep.
