Civil Service Angling Society anglers have access to a number of lakes and rivers in London and surrounding counties. Full membership is open to civil servants whether still serving or retired.
Competitions are held throughout the year with relaxed and friendly matches all anglers are welcome wether beginner or more advanced.

A small lake surround by overhanging trees and shrubs. Crabtree lake is a fairly easy water to fish on any method. Lake is stocked with small carp 3lb - 6lb, tench and roach.
This water is shared with Elmbridge Model Club.
Ellis water is a large 86 acre mature gravel pit that is joined with a smaller 6 acre lagoon by a small channel. This fishing venue holds some large fish with bream to 15lb+, tench to over 11lb and some good size carp, the water also holds pike, perch, roach and eels. Ellis water is not an easy water to fish though if you put in the time the rewards are there.
CSAS have access to a couple of sections of the river Thames these include Southleas Farm near 'Datchet' with around a 1 1/2 mile stretch of the river to fish. Fish species include: Bream, chub, barbel, roach, carp, dace, perch, pike and eels. The second stretch is within the Royal Windsor race course with a 1+ mile stretch of the Thames, Boveney weir pool and part of Mill Stream.
CSAS anglers have access to a 1/2 mile stretch of the River Medway in Kent near East Peckham along with a short section of the River Bourne. The river is fairly slow and deep. This water holds the usual river fish with a number of roach along with chub, bream, the odd carp, perch and pike.
Civil Service Angling Society have access to a couple of stretches of the River Kennet with around 1 mile (both banks) along with 1 1/4 mile of single bank between Newbury and Thatcham in Berkshire. The River Kennet has a mix of fish species including chub 7lb, dace, barbel 15lb+, roach, trout, bream, gudgeon, pike 20lb+, perch and the odd carp. Trout fishing permits are available for this venue for a very reasonable fee.
Civil Service Angling Society anglers can fish a couple of stretches of the Avon Canal these include Kintbury Wharf with 1/2 mile of the either side of Kintbury Lock. the 2nd section is 'Midgham' 1/2 mile stretch this seciton is shared with Reed Thatcham Angling Club. Fish species include: bream, tench, roach, perch, pike, carp trout and grayling.
