Civil Service Angling Society
Civil Service Angling Club also referred to as Civil Service Fishing Club is a long standing fishing club which
was first established in 1934. The club is dedicated to and open to civil servants whether still serving or retired.
Civil Service Angling Club anglers have access to a number of lakes and rivers in London and surrounding counties.
Competitions are held throughout the year with relaxed and friendly matches, all anglers are welcome whether
beginner or more advanced.

Civil Service Fishing Club Lakes
Crabtree Fishery
Crabtree lake is a club controlled small fishing lake stocked with small carp around 3lb - 6lb along with tench and roach.

Big Sheepwalk
Big Sheepwalk is a large 18 acre gravel pit stocked with big mirror carp, common carp, pike, bream, perch, roach, eels and huge record tench.

Little Sheepwalk
Little Sheepwalk is a 3 1/2 acre gravel pit stocked with big mirror carp, common carp, pike, bream, perch, roach, eels and tench.

Ellis Water
Ellis water is a huge 86 acre mature gravel pit that is joined with a smaller 6 acre lagoon by a small channel. This fishing venue holds some large fish with tench to 12lb+, carp to 35lb+, pike, bream, perch, roach and eels.

Civil Service Fishing Club Rivers
Avon Canal
The Avon Canal offers splendid scenery and wildlife along with different pleasure activities including fishing with carp, bream, tench, chub, roach, perch, pike and eels.
River Thames
CSAS have access to stretches of the River Thames, Royal Windsor Racecourse. Fish species include carp, bream, chub, barbel, roach, dace, perch, pike and eels. Sizes of fish varies as with all rivers they are a bit of an unknown.
River Kennet
Civil Service Angling Society have access to a couple of stretches of the River Kennet. The River Kennet has a mix of fish species including chub 7lb, dace, barbel 15lb+, roach, trout, bream, pike 20lb+, perch and the odd carp. Trout fishing permits are available.
River Loddon
Civil Service Angling Society have access to a couple of stretches of the River Loddon. The River Loddon has a mix of fish species including chub, barbel, roach, brown trout, pike and perch.
River Whitewater
Civil Service Angling Society have access to a stretch of the River Whitewater. The River Whitewater has a mix of fish species including chub, barbel, roach, brown trout, pike and perch.
