Curls Farm is located in the tiny village of Ripe situated near Golden Cross. The Association’s premier still water fishery. The fishing lake is around 3 acres in size with depths of less than a metre deep. Never the less the water holds a large head of common and mirror carp up to well in excess of 20 pounds. Also present are some large eels, good sized roach, rudd and a few tench.
Curls Farm is controlled by Southdown and Hydenye Community Angling Club (SHCAC), formerly Southdown Angling Association. This water has no Close Season restrictions.

150 metres west of the centre of Ripe village, turn right into a lane heading north west, signposted Laughton. Fishery is on the right hand side with entry via double farm gates secured by chain and combination padlock, leading to two large barns. Parking in designated area against the hedge adjacent to the lane.
