Scaland Wood lake is a small, peaceful water that is aproximately 3/4 acre in size. The lake is sheltered by woodland trees and contains features including weed patches, reeds and overhanging trees and bushes. The water is stocked with lots of fish including lots of small tench and roach and a good number of carp to 12lb. Scaland Wood lake is located in between in Jarvis Brook on the outskirts of Crowborough. The lake is controlled by Crowborough and District Anglers Association. The water is for members and guests only. Scaland Wood lake observes the close season from the 14th March to 1st June each year. There are a limited number of night ticket permits available that are obtainable from key club officials.
