The Beeches is located in the peaceful countryside in between the coutry villages of Peasmarsh and Wittersham. It can be found a quarter of mile north of blackwall bridge on the left hand side of the road from Peasmarsh to Wittersham. The lake covers aproximately 1-2 acres of water. The water hosts a lot of match fish which include tench to 3lb, roach to 1lb, and rudd to 1lb. The water also supports a number of carp that reach upto 12lb+ and some large perch to 3lb+. The water can be prone to heavy weed growth through the summer months. The water is owned by Clive Vale Angling Club and is for members only.

The Beeches - a 1-2 acre kidney shaped lake prone to heavy weed growth in the summer.
The Beeches is a 1-2 acre, kidney shaped water located in the heart of the Peasmarsh, Wittersham countryside just north of the Blackwall Bridge section of the River Rother. The lake features include the odd over hanging bush, weed beds and some large patches of reed beds and lilly pads. The banks are generally flat, grassy banks that are raised slightly from the waters edge. The Beeches on a good day could hold approximately 15 anglers. Successful baits include sweetcorn, maggots, casters, lobworms, bread, boilies.
This fishery was recently restocked with carp, roach, rudd and tench.
