Bury Hill Fisheries

Bury Hill Fisheries is located in the heart of the Surrey hills close to Dorking. The fishery is made up of 4 fishing lakes to suit all anglers with specimen carp lakes, predator and match fishing lakes. The largest and oldest of the lakes dating back to the 1800's is Old Bury Hill Lake that is 12 acres in size with 75 pegs and is stocked with specimen carp to over 40lb+, tench, bream along with some great predator fishing with Zander and pike to 30lb.

This picturesque fishery has many great features to fish along with some beautiful wildlife. Facilities include a lake side cafe which seats up to 40 people offering freshly cooked food, Full English breakfasts, burgers.... - On site tackle shop that stocks top branded fishing tackle along with a wide range of match, carp and predator baits including maggots, worms, groundbaits, boilies, a range of frozen baits... - Large car park, - Disabled access to all four fishing lakes.

Old Bury Hill Lake

A beautiful 200 year old 12 acre lake surrounded by trees, lilies and irises. This old lake is stocked with several 30lb carp along with some specimen bream, tench, zander to over 15lb, pike to around 30lb.... Boat fishing is also available on Old Bury Hill Lake.

Bonds Lake

Bonds lake is a pretty little 2 acre water surrounded by irises and stocked with a number of carp averaging around 3-4lb in size. Bonds lake is well stocked with catches to 141lb, that have been recorded in around 3 hours of fishing. This water is popular with club matches and is advisable to contact Bury Hill Fisheries prior to visiting for swim availability.

Milton Lake

Milton is a 3 acre lake stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Perch Roach and Rudd. This water is aimed at match fishing with large size carp being limited to allow anglers to enjoy sport from Tench and other smaller species of fish. This 30 peg lake is rich in features to fish with thousands of lily pads, trees, shrubs and marginal reeds which add to the beautiful setting. During the summer months pleasure catches to 250lb are not uncommon on this well stocked lake.

Temple Lake

Temple lake is stocked with British specimen carp, with each bite expect a 20lb or larger fish, with over 90 carp to over 20lb lurking in this water. The largest fish caught is a 36lb pounder, with a possible 40lb carp soon to surface. This 4 acres lake has 15 well spread swims that are around 30 meters apart. Features include 4 islands, marginal reeds, lilies, irises, shrubs, trees and many underwater features. A yearly membership fee is required to Fish Temple lake.

"I fished a match on this lake, I caught absolutely nothing but the guy fishing two swims along using a pole seemed to be pulling out the whole lake including some amazing tray sized bream. Lots of greats swims, packed with features..".
