A Sussex angling club that has been running for over 100 years, when once a years fishing at the club would of cost 5 shillings. The angling society now own a number of stretches along the Sussex Ouse river with around 9 miles of spots to fish, along with a number of fishing lakes between 1 - 14 acres in size. The Haywards Heath and District Angling Society waters stock a range of fish species from Grayling, Barbel up to 15lb from the river Ouse, Brown Trout, Pike, Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Perch, Chub, Common Carp up to 24lb from Balcombe lake, Dace, Eel, Gudgeon plus occasionally Rainbow Trout and Sea Trout.
