Cinderford Pond is a charming little fishery located in Golden Cross and is controlled by Southdown Angling Association. The lake is 3/4's of an acre in size, up to 2 metres deep and features and island along with numerous lily pads to fish. Cinderford Pond is well stocked with mainly small roach, rudd, tench and brown goldfish wih the occasional larger fish. An ideal fishing lake for new anglers.
This water enforces a close season from 14th March to 15th June.

Enter via Cinderford Lane, which leads east (signposted Cowbeech) at the top of Grove Hill between Hellingly and Horam. Access to the fishery is via the double farm gates, approximately a quarter mile down the lane on the south side, following the track and taking the left hand fork, when the pond will be found on the right, with the Association parking area just before it. Please ensure the gates are shut after entry or exit.
